When Jaguar began work on the all-new XJ model in 2005, they needed expertise on extruding and hydro-forming aluminium components. They turned to Sapa – the largest aluminium extrusion company in the world. After two years of discussions and different design concepts, Sapa’s cantrail using a hydro-formed extrusion was born.
